English language Challenges

The subject of English do not really like it, because first of all takes me time, which could be used to study and also because it is a language that is to my taste, but I know that is very helpful in my study area and we need to learn what to advance academically.

On the subject of blogs, I think it is very useful to write in English on a topic as it makes you think about how to use the vocabulary, and also in bringing what one already knows. But sometimes the subject may be more related to the study area with the everyday.

I think I need to improve in both English pronunciation and writing and within it the specter of vocabulary, and I think to improve those weaknesses the best way is reading, watching movies and listening to songs in English, as this will make me more entertaining yet to improve these aspects need to spend a minimum time period, and I think time is what I need form now.

Finally, being well sincere in my daily life is not much to use English with exception of having to read some articles for college that are in the language, in addition to blogs and talk in classes for this course.

The courses that the university implements are very useful, but I think for people with memory problems and difficulty with learning the language is not sufficiently complete, first because there is an academic pressure and second because sometimes the time is not sufficient, however recounting previous courses, I have the feeling that I have learned a lot, and in relation to how come I feel now much more than before.

I know I must practice a lot, because what this language is very poor for coping with what I needed, but I think learning on my own and perhaps taking courses apart, I can move forward in learning this language. I hope one day to speak to perfection!

My Future Job

I have taken see me classmate of Environmental Impact, because help me to see other aspects of the archeology. Also I take other class help me to understand as the culture to relate with me career and other disciplines.  The university in general help me to see the world with other eyes. 

I’d like to get a job that to relate whit my career ( Archaeology), because it can be done outdoors, you have contact with nature, many places are know and because there isn’t bass to press when doing the work.

The main feature is to have a vocation, this means that you are passionate about archaeological work in either field, and be laboratory or research. 

Some aspects could be: place, salary, hours and people that job with me.

-          The place is an aspect very important because I not wish I’m far of my family.

-          The salary because is a motivation for to accept the job.

-          The hours are very important because I not wish job all time, I wish have time for me.

-          But the aspect more important is with people that I worked, because is ideal that see a good environment.  

In a job interview about your strengths and weaknesses I say you that I’m very responsible, I tidy, punctual, effort me when I feel that I’m disadvantage in comparison with me colleague and I can productive too that they. 

My weaknesses is that put me nervous when put pressure on me and I crash, also I absentminded and have me that remember things for I make with advance. However I think that when one wish with anxiety the job try change the bad things.

Discrimination

The discrimination is a topic very important in the world, because we are leave to people with some disability or difference to a side.  As human persons we duty integrate to all the people independently of their differences.

Here in Santiago we need for to discrimination we to get information because like that we can help to the people that need help. We duty begin for teach in the schools because the children are the responsible of the world change.   Too we can to generate programs of state for that all people can generate change in the topic of discrimination.  Begin for myself is good idea. 

I think that do people discriminate because our join culture since more time to generate tools for distinguishes to one of others.  The people do discriminate because we tendency to we separate of that different.  All that is different or “abnormal” is discriminate for us. 

We discriminate generally for to physical appearance, social, cultural, economic and religious.  We agree all that is similar to our shape, for example:  If I’m poor or wealthy, I have more nearness with it poor or wealthy. 

We can change this begin for we think that all people are the same and that only that change is for outside however we are composed  for same.  All are human persons. 

I felt discriminated when I was little and began to use glasses. My classmate upset me and like I was look different she’s tell me things ugly. However with the time I understand that I was not more different that me classmate but me differentiate only for my glasses.

Good things and bad things in the first half

One of the best things that had the first half, is that class made ​​me one of the most renowned archaeologists, Mauricio Uribe (MUR). He is very good at what he does, and although it is somewhat demanding, I think we learned a lot from him.

Also one of the good things that happened is that we had two field trips in the semester, one went to San Antonio and the other in San Pedro de Atacama, in learned them a lot, as I learned in the first field when is archeology, and the another met a new cultural universe.


Overall the first half had a lot of good, because I learned many new things, such as is archeology and how we can study the culture through materiality.

But the only bad thing I can emphasize is that demand academic is fairly , ie, we "exploded" reading. The branches have great academic load, which together sometimes hard for half as much time to dedicate each.

But after all such requirement helps us get used to read and create the habit, and also know new things.

My favorite place

A place I would like to know, and I thing that although it isn't know is my favorite place, is Egypt.

I find it a culturally and scenically beautiful; behind all its ruins has great stories, great rulers, and wise peoples.

I really like this place, because I care tremendously called its architecture; pyramids seem to me a fascinating thing. These are sites that await many secrets.

The story that has this culture also I seems magical, their traditions, myths, legends, are things that make this place unique, special and magical to me.

Also one of the reasons why I like very much is because it relates to my career, archeology, I think it helps me understand many things and give special value to these places that are so beautiful.

Finally I would like to know about this place because I have the feeling that they can rescue a lot of it and learn a lot about Egyptian culture, really love it, because it seems to be a magical place, a place with many stories.

Well, I hope know of place some day!!

HOW GREEN ARE YOU?

1. - The people learn about enviromentally friendly practices in your families, is here where the people learn how to generate way of to look the nature and enviromentally friendly.  Also we learn reading and informed means the newspapers, TV, radio and the internet.

2. - Regrettably I never incorporated recycling into in my habits, because I haven’t time for tidy the garbage or other elements. 

3. - I don’t use cars and bike, I prefer use my legs because help me to keep me health and not pollute the city. 

4. - I don`t joined or supported any eco-organizations because even I not find an organization that interested me. May be when to find an organization that I like and helps to the animals, and I can contribute money I do member.

5. -   For help the plant I like do if I have money a big nature park as the Yellowstone park  or an big reserve of animals, I thing that this means can help to plant for that are more clean and healthy.  

6.- I haven’t  done nothing for reducing my  carbon footprint, because I`m not all know that manner of reducing the carbon footprint, may be plant trees I can help reducing the the carbon footprint, but I don’t .

7.-  In our society missing know more matter when help to recycle  , to clean and when we can improve the quality of life. Can do the state help to inform more about the topic.
