Good things and bad things in the first half
One of the best things that had the first half, is that class made me one of the most renowned archaeologists, Mauricio Uribe (MUR). He is very good at what he does, and although it is somewhat demanding, I think we learned a lot from him.
Also one of the good things that happened is that we had two field trips in the semester, one went to San Antonio and the other in San Pedro de Atacama, in learned them a lot, as I learned in the first field when is archeology, and the another met a new cultural universe.
Overall the first half had a lot of good, because I learned many new things, such as is archeology and how we can study the culture through materiality.
But the only bad thing I can emphasize is that demand academic is fairly , ie, we "exploded" reading. The branches have great academic load, which together sometimes hard for half as much time to dedicate each.
But after all such requirement helps us get used to read and create the habit, and also know new things.
My favorite place
A place I
would like to know, and I thing that although it isn't know is my favorite
place, is Egypt.
I find it a
culturally and scenically beautiful; behind all its ruins has great stories,
great rulers, and wise peoples.
I really
like this place, because I care tremendously called its architecture; pyramids
seem to me a fascinating thing. These are sites that await many secrets.
The story
that has this culture also I seems magical, their traditions, myths, legends,
are things that make this place unique, special and magical to me.
Also one of
the reasons why I like very much is because it relates to my career,
archeology, I think it helps me understand many things and give special value
to these places that are so beautiful.
Finally I
would like to know about this place because I have the feeling that they can
rescue a lot of it and learn a lot about Egyptian culture, really love it,
because it seems to be a magical place, a place with many stories.
Well, I hope
know of place some day!!

7.- In our society missing know more matter when
help to recycle , to clean and when we
can improve the quality of life. Can do the state help to inform more about the

My Favorite Class: Archaeological Theory II
My favorite
class is “Archaeological Theory II”, because is a topic that help me to
understand as the archaeology developed in the time, and as we can to improve
the quality of the archaeology.
The topic
is very demanding because we are much read, but that help we to crate the habit
of read for every class and we can also to criticize the theories since our
perspective. Apart from the modality of the class to allow
that all classmates we talk and we share because way the dialogue or discussion
we can idea exchange and we can to arrive to consensus envelope the deal topic.
The class
very necessary for we can understand as it`s the archaeology today, as we can
to interpreted the archaeological search, and as we can to improve previous
works.
In the
class to generate dynamics that our prepare for the work experience, for example
in the teaching or creating papers.
The importance
that has the class in my professional life is that with the tools that our have
the teacher we can interpret of way more actuality the archaeological search.
Only not we
can have the basic knowledge with matter to way of to excavate or the
prehistory, but is necessary to understand to that we are see in the registry,
and as this registry our tell of the past and also to present.

Energy, Anthropology and Archaeology in Chile
The energy
issue in our country is a contingent matter that needs a check from many
angles. Chile today is generating new energy generating means, however for the
realization of these projects is not only necessary to have a large capital but
also needed the approval of Chilean law.
In this particular
case the performance of the thermoelectric "La Castilla", did not
meet the requirements requested that the judicial system to carry out the
project, and it happened to bring
environmental regulations.
If this
project is approved and complies with all regulations, must submit an EIA
(environmental impact study). But environmental regulations not only consist in
biological and chemical pollution that a company can make to the environment,
but also pollution that may be generated in the communities surrounding this.
Many people are affected by the implementation of these projects, as their way
of life can be seen interrupted or affected, generating economic deficiency,
social, cultural and political in the life in them.
Thus the
system of environmental impact assessment (SEIA) ensures environmental welfare,
and anthropological. But also one of the requirements needed for the project
can be approved and implemented, is to conduct archaeological surveys, because
the law says that everything on Earth's surface or under it is owned by the
State, for which prior to build any type of building, it is necessary to record
whether the area remains or not archaeological, and depending on the presence
or absence of them is what is also delayed in approving the project.
Archaeology
in the past 15 years has been very important in terms of environmental impact
studies, as each day in our country are generating more environmentally and culturally aware.
Thus archeology in EIA has emerged as a useful tool to preserve the archaeological
material of our country and also for more awareness overall enterprise level.
In these
studies the archeology has more still room, since the issue of the environment
and energy is contingent, however as long as these contingencies and types of
study, the discipline of archeology will run, but to validity that is practical and effective that at any
time may be exhausted.
